Micro is turning 2!

I can't believe my sweet little baby boy will be turning 2 tomorrow! It seems like just yesterday that we brought him home to meet his big brother! Thank you Lord, for this amazing miracle and the special family you have created!
Well, we have a wonderful day planned for tomorrow to celebrate. (We won't be having a birthday until next week, but have created a fun filled day for tomorrow!) I've been trying to let Mijo be a big part of it this year. Trying to teach him the joys of making his brother's birthday special. We gave him some money and took him to Target where he picked out a special present to his brother JUST FROM HIM! It was so neat to watch. Then tonight, after Micro is in bed, I'm taking Mijo to get balloons and a cake to surprise him in the morning.  We will be making Mickey Pancakes with fresh blueberries (Micros fav) for breakfast, and taking the boys to see The Lorax later in the day! I'm so excited. Mijo has really put a lot of care into making this a special birthday for Micro! I'm so encouraged by brotherly love! Maybe y son will read this blog one day... To my wonderful son: Your Dad and I love you and are honored to raise you and have you in our lives. Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

Just found the BEST place!

 Today Aunt M and I found the most AMAZING place to take the boys. It's this giant Play Place for kids 5 and under! It had everything! The boys loved the train, and Jump houses. Mom loved that is was SUPER clean and family friendly! We will be going back with more of our buddies soon! Maybe a place for Mijo's birthday party!

Mijo's New Trick

Saturday Morning

This morning we enjoyed a yummy breakfast of Homemade Smiley Pancakes smothered in yogurt with fresh blueberries on the side! The boys LOVED it! Not so bad for mama either!

Oh what a beautiful moment! House is SUPER clean (after a LONG 2 days of scrubbing), dinner is prepped, kids are finishing up naps, and I am finally relaxing on the couch, feeling my baby boy move in my growing tummy, listening to a little Norah Jones, and taking in the scent of my new candles. Mmmmm! I know it's only a matter of moments before the monkeys wake up and hubby gets off and we can start the entertainment of FAMILY LIFE!  Thank you, Lord for passing moments like this!

Boy or Girl??????????????????????

Tomorrow morning we go in to find out the sex of the baby. I can't tell you how very exciting this is.  We would love to find out that we are adding a little baby girl to the Smith clan, but the thought of adding another trooper son is fascinating too! Lord, bless this child as it grows, and prepare our home to welcome it in love. It's amazing that even though we await anxiously to see what we will name it, and what it will look like, and what it will act like.... it brings me great peace knowing that my Heavenly Father already knows this child well. He has plans for it and an amazing call on it's life!!

Mt. Diablo

We have lived in this area for over 6 years now and I can't believe TODAY was the first time I have ever been to the top of Mt. Diablo! It really is a gorgeous view! My rockin' hubby rode all the way from the summit, back to our house!! So inspiring!
